I have stopped

Hoping for something

Something that I know won't happen

Hoping for someone

Someone that I know won't be there

Hoping for shoulder

Shoulder that I know won't be by my side

At times that I hope

It would be there

Dear hope

I've given up on you

Now I let you go

And I'm saying goodbye

Stay away from what's supposed to be avoided
