DIAgnosis

Assalamualaikum...

Hai Incik Bloggie!!!

Lama rasanya tak menulis review buku. *Gaya macam lah selalu sangat dia tulis kan!

NOVEL? WHAT? At first macam tak percaya aku beli novel. Lama dah kot den tak baca novel inikan lagi nak beli.

Buku DIAgnosis dah lama ada kat pasaran, since last year, baru sekarang nak beli sebab tunggu baucer buku...*pengakuan jujur...face palm*. Dia punya tunggu...punya tunggu... sampai DIAgnosis 2 pun dah keluar di pasaran.

Just now, baru je habiskan baca buku DIAgnosis...aku ambik masa beberapa jam je nak habiskan novel ni.

Ahaks! I guess cerita-cerita yang diorang tulis ni mesti based on their experiences. Agak juling jugaklah bila terbaca perkataan-perkataan medical yang bagiku kedengaran seperti bahasa alien. Luckily ada footnotes, meaning of the medical terms. So...bolehla den yang belajar business ni faham.

Most of the stories, berkisar pasal ragam pesakit. Di setiap ending cerita, he'll explained moral of the story.

Dr Azah pula...cerita yang ditulis alahai...why sound so sweet... Alergik manis-manis sangat neh...huhu... Cerita dia agak panjang, so struggle jugaklah nak habiskan kisah2 yang ditulis Dr Azah ni. Tapi paling menarik, dia story pasal sambut baby dekat labour room, penjagaan kanak-kanak and how they handle ibu-ibu muda yang melahirkan 'bayi yang tidak mereka pinta'.

Part Dr Aizzat...haa...agak mencabar nak faham sebab agak 'klinikal' penceritaannya. Tapi tu encourage otakku untuk berimaginasi "macam tu rupanya doc handle pesakit at certain condition".

Antara quotes yang aku tertarik;

EGOISTIK by Dr Aizzat: "Apabila ego menguasai hati, iman terbang jauh ke langit tinggi, syaitan datang dekat kata mari"

ALIF BA TA by Dr Anwar Fazal: "Alif...ba...ta-ubat..."itu ubat kamu...

So...so...so...for me; worth buying and worth reading. But I like this novel! So tak kisahla uollss nak kata apa, AAK? *lepas uollss tau makna AAK tu mesti rasa macam  lempang laju2 budak neh!* Looking forward to read DIAgnosis 2 pulak. Actually dah terbaca 1 kisah dalam novel tu, sebab tajuk macam menarik kan... Menanti Superman... *where are you Superman? eh!!!*

Katil umpama dah memanggil-manggil namaku...terbayang-bayang esok ada kelas...Semangat!!! Semangat!!! Intan!!!

Till we meet again Incik Bloggie!

Pssttt... AAK: Ada Aku Kesah! Ahaks! Selamat malam dunia penuh pancaroba.

Wassalam...

Bedtime story #15: Why Don't I Have A Boyfriend

She asked her: Why don’t you have a boyfriend? She replied with confidence: You tell me. Why would I have a boyfriend? I guess you have no answer for my question, but I have answers for yours. First, I am a believer, I can’t do what displeases my Creator. He ordered me not to to have a boyfriend so I should obey Him.

Allah says in Qur’an: “Nor those who take [secret] lovers." (surat Al-Nisa-25). Secondly, I am a daughter of a man who raised me to be a chaste woman. I am a sister of a man who is proud of my purity, so I don’t want to disappoint them, and most of all I don’t want to disappoint a third man who is my future husband and the father of my children in sha Allah. I am preserving myself to him only.

My mom raised me to be a righteous woman so that I deserve a righteous man. She never raised me to be a toy in any boy’s hand, but she raised me to complete the Deen of a pious man. Also, I am not an easy girl who would be impressed with sweet love words, but I am a proud Muslimah who is just like a pearl in its shell. No one can touch it but a brave man who would value it and cherish its beauty.

Hey You, Cheer Up!

Assalamualaikum...

And Hi, My Lovely Incik Bloggie!

Feel down...

Feel depressed...

Feel disconnected with Allah...

Feel like your duas are not being answered...

Think maybe Allah doesn't love you anymore...

I have one secret to tell you...

Masa tu baginda rasa sangat sedih & mula berfikir bahawa Allah membenci dia. All these thoughts come to his mind.

Pernah tak kita rasa macam ni, kadang-kadang rasa betapa beratnya ujian yang Allah bagi kat kita dek kerana dosa-dosa lalu dan semasa, keseorangan, tiada bantuan... kenapa aku...kenapa aku...why... sampai rasa terpinggir bila Allah tak membalas doa kita, rasa Allah tak mempedulikan kita.

So...

Allah turunkan surah Dhuha untuk nabi Muhammad SAW & kita semua...

(1) "waddhuha. by the sun & the morning in its blazing glory." The first thing you tell a person who's depressed is to wake up, see the sun. Its not all doom & gloom. It's a good day out there. Look at the sun and how it shines for you. Isn't it amazing when we think about how Allah created the sun for us. That enormous big ball of light is created for YOU my friend.

(2) "wallaili izaa sajaa- And by the night as it develops and gives comfort." The problem of people who are depressed is that they stay up at night & sleep in the morning. They have a bad sleeping pattern. Psychologically, this effects a person's mood and emotion and gives a bad impact physically, emotionally and mentally. One major reason leading to depression.

(3) "Allah does not hate u Oh Muhammad nor has He forgotton you." Allah does not hate us. Not at all. He does not hate you. In fact, God loves us more than our mother loves us.

(4) "and indeed the hereafter will be far better for you". The storm shall pass and surely what is waiting for you is far better than what you have to go through now. Allah promised. And when God promises, he keeps it.

(5) "and very soon your lord will give you a massive reward & make you happy." Very soon all this hurt will end. Very soon the situation will get better. Very soon it will all be okay. Very soon my friend, have faith.

(6) "Did He not find you an orphan and look after you?". Ask yourself, at times when you feel hopeless, didn't God still grant u nice clothes to wear? Did he stop giving you shelter?

(7) "And He found you lost, and guided you". Allah saw you misguided and wandering helplessly, and He gave you Islam, what more can you ask for?

(8) "And he found you poor, & sustained you". If you still have food to eat, & fresh air to breathe in today, trust me dude your situation isn't really that bad.

(9 & 10) Allah tells us that the best way to overcome depression is to look at those who are more unfortunate.

(11) "and for the ni'mat you get, must you announce gratefulness". Overcome devastation by syukr. Alhamdulillah for our eyes, our hands, for protection, for our families. Wallahi, you are so blessed. So cheer up.

How Surah Ad-Dhuha can change your life - Sh Tawfique Chowdhury

Ada sebab kenapa Allah membiarkan kita rasa sendirian. Talk to Allah...Keep on talk to Him...

So... Do you feel better now?

Me too... =)

Allah will always listen even at times we can't even hear ourselves. Allah loves us, always. :')

Bedtime story #14: Potatoes, eggs, and coffee beans

Assalamualaikum...

Hai Incik Bloggie!

Aik...Awalnye?

Still early for bedtime story ek... Orang kata, malam masih muda la...

Baby kena cukup tidur 8jam. Esok nak bangun awal... *Ahaks! poyo je minah ni...*

*****

Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed.

Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot.

He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing.

After twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl.

He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?”

“Potatoes, eggs, and coffee,” she hastily replied.

“Look closer,” he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted that they were soft. He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face.

“Father, what does this mean?” she asked.

He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity– the boiling water.

However, each one reacted differently.

The potato went in strong, hard, and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak.

The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard.

However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.

“Which are you,” he asked his daughter. “When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean? “

*****

In life, many things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is what happens within us.

Which one are you?

Till we meet again Incik Bloggie!
